FeeonTime

School fees and everyday essentials, in one app

Mobile and web development connecting families, educational institutions and service providers.

The project

Daphnis delivered FeeonTime’s v3.0 scope: Android and iOS apps, a web frontend, backend APIs, vendor tools and administration. The engagement extended an existing product and included migration of its data.

About these images

The app visuals are AI-generated recreations commissioned by the owner, using the original blue-and-white navigation artwork and supplied product documents as references. They show example layouts and fictional records, not screenshots from a running build. Completed delivery is confirmed by the owner against the team lead’s archive.

From a fee to a payment record

Recreated app views illustrate the delivered workflows using sample data.

Match the fee to the institution

Fee categories covered play schools, schools, colleges, admissions, workshops and skills programmes. Institutions with uploaded student records used OTP verification; open institutions let users enter their details and amount.

Keep the receipt within reach

Transaction history separated fee payments, shopping and daily-needs transactions. Users could revisit a payment, download its receipt or start a repeat transaction.

The platform behind the app

Shared backend services connected the customer experience to business operations.

  1. Role-based access

Separate user, vendor and administrator roles organised access to the platform’s modules.

  2. Vendor operations

Vendor tools covered payment collection, online shopping, lead forms, sample tests and embedded experiences.

  3. Payments and communication

Gateway integrations worked alongside email, SMS and Android/iOS push notifications.

  4. Data and administration

Database modelling, an analytics panel and administration supported the operation, with the backend hosted on AWS.

Beyond fee collection

  1. Shopping and checkout

Product catalogues, a wishlist, editable cart quantities and delivery addresses supported purchases. Coupon selection and payment-gateway choice formed part of checkout.

  2. Education and local services

Tutor discovery, tests and enquiry forms connected users with providers. Responses were passed to the relevant vendor for follow-up.

  3. Wallet, offers and notifications

Wallet top-ups, coupons and account-specific offers sat alongside an updates feed. Notifications linked users to the relevant activity, including adding wallet funds.
