# Business process automation

Connect existing tools so requests reach the right action, with approvals and recovery where the process needs them.

**Incoming request** Account identity supplied?

Yes **Team queue**

## A new teammate. One approval. A recoverable exception.

Approve onboarding, resolve an existing-account conflict and resume the remaining tasks.

## Automate the handoff that already has a rule.

### A known trigger

A received request, approved record or scheduled event with a stable identifier.

### A bounded action

An update that a connected system supports and the operating team can verify.

### An exception owner

A person who can decide what happens when required context is missing.

## What your operators take over.

- ### Trigger & action map

- ### Approval and exception rules

- ### Scoped system connectors

- ### Retry & recovery behaviour

- ### Execution history

- ### Operator runbook

## Make the connection boundary explicit.

### Access

Use scoped service credentials and identify who can approve or revoke them.

### Execution

Agree duplicate handling, rate limits and which side effects can be reversed.

### Change

Assign maintenance when an upstream field, API or business rule changes.

## A few practical questions.

### Does every workflow need AI?

No. Clear rules and system integrations often cover the task. AI can be scoped for unstructured inputs when its outputs can be checked and routed appropriately.

### What if a connected tool has no API?

We review supported export, import and integration options first. UI automation may be possible, but its reliability, access and maintenance constraints must be made explicit.

### Can a person approve a sensitive step?

Yes. We define the approver, what they see, when approval expires and what happens if the underlying request changes before execution.

### Who handles failed runs?

The operating agreement identifies the queue owner, escalation path and recovery actions. A failed step should be visible and recoverable rather than silently retried forever.

## Show us the work between your tools.

Bring one recurring request, the people who handle it and a few cases that went wrong.
