## The project

WOOUM’s existing store needed to help shoppers choose bags by what they carry and how they use them. Custom Liquid sections connect those shopping tools to Shopify’s product, variant and cart infrastructure.

## Shopping tools built into the theme

### A guided bag finder

Shoppers choose what they carry, how they carry it and where they go. JavaScript rules map those three answers to a product category and collection link—for example, hands-free daily commuting points to an anti-theft bag.

### Build a kit around a routine

Shoppers can assemble up to four products, see a running total and save the kit in their browser. The implementation sends selected variant IDs together through Shopify’s AJAX Cart API. A three-item kit supports a 5% discount when a valid merchant-configured code is present.

A dedicated guide connects what someone needs to organise with a pouch recommendation, placing product imagery alongside the selection criteria.

## Merchandising and maintenance

1.  ### Merchant-editable sections
    
    Theme Editor settings and blocks let the team change headings, images, products, menus and FAQs. The branded returns page retains Shopify-managed policy content.
    
2.  ### Collection-connected product cards
    
    Featured products come from a selected Shopify collection, with current and compare-at prices, hover imagery, sold-out states and quick-add controls.
    
3.  ### Ongoing store support
    
    Continue performance and SEO work alongside video categorisation, target-market planning and wholesale opportunities.
