## The project

Maple Software Solutions needed development support for an installed gaming system. Daphnis's remit spanned application development and the practical work of bringing the build into operation at the site.

## The parts of a working installation

### The interface extends beyond the display

Daphnis worked on the Unity3D game UI and server development, alongside integration with physical game boards, buttons and printing. The delivery therefore covered both the software a player sees and the equipment used to operate it.

## Taking the build on site

Installation formed part of the engagement. The delivery environment included the physical game equipment, so bringing the application into use involved the installed setup as well as the software build.

## Support after installation

Daphnis also provided remote troubleshooting for the deployed system. That support responsibility extended the engagement beyond development and into the day-to-day operation of the installation.
